SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --U-Haul Moving and Storage of San Juan Capistrano is the newest addition to U-Haul Company of Orange County. This facility is located at 33033 Camino Capistrano and was previously operated as Family Classic Cars, a car dealership specializing in classic vehicles.
The building was constructed in 1979 and fully remodeled in 1993. This 38,584 square foot concrete building now offers the residents of San Juan Capistrano truck, trailer and U-Box pod rentals. In the future, U-Haul Moving and Storage of San Juan Capistrano will be adding self-storage to their list of services.
Brandon Williams, marketing company president of U-Haul Company of Orange County, is thrilled that U-Haul is able to provide moving and storage in an area where those features aren't available. "There is no U-Haul storage location in the vicinity," Williams said. "This makes it an ideal location for us to step in and serve the needs of the residents of San Juan Capistrano."
The acquisition of Family Classic Cars is driven by U-Haul Company's Corporate Sustainability initiatives: U-Haul supports infill development to help local communities lower their carbon footprint. Our adaptive reuse of existing buildings eliminates the amount of energy and resources required for new-construction materials and helps local cities diminish their unwanted inventory of unused buildings.
