LOUIS, Sept. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- With 10 years of experience in making the use of prescription drugs safer and more affordable for millions of military beneficiaries, Express Scripts (NASDAQ: ESRX) is today doing even more to serve other entities through its newly rebranded Federal Pharmacy Services division.

For the past decade, Express Scripts has served the Department of Defense and the 9.7 million beneficiaries in its TRICARE® pharmacy program. During that time, the collaboration has led to best practices in improving utilization rates of lower-cost generic drugs, a significant increase in the use of home delivery, and driving healthier outcomes while achieving beneficiary satisfaction ratings as high as 98.3%.

In addition to continuing to serve the Department of Defense, Express Scripts will expand its pharmacy benefit management offering to other federal agencies.
