Expanded International Services for Fortune 500 and Government Agency Clients Announced at Graebel
Graebel Single Source Solution Adds Commercial Cargo Forwarding Service Worldwide and Expanded On-the-Ground Relocation and Moving Services in Africa
AURORA, Colo., March 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Chief Executive Officer of the Graebel Companies, Inc., William Graebel SGMS has announced that the division, Graebel Movers International, Inc., has expanded its service menu for its Fortune 500 and U.S. government agency clients' employee and commercial relocation needs. These latest global mobility service options are: Graebel Cargo and Graebel AfricaTrans.
Graebel Movers International, Inc. has tapped John Roller, co-founder of AfricaTrans, to be senior vice president of strategic development. Now known as Graebel AfricaTrans this group will draw on and provide in-person training of the Company's mandatory relocation and moving standards to pre-vetted, privately-held moving agencies on the continent of Africa. These firms will self-perform on-the-ground relocation and moving services for the Graebel corporate and U.S. government agency clientele. Performance will be tracked and results measured according to Graebel protocols to ensure consistent best-in-class service delivery. Roller is leading this initiative and he reports to Jim Petzel, president of Graebel Movers International, Inc.
The second new service option is the forwarding commercial cargo service, Graebel Cargo. With its office located in Washington, D.C., Graebel Cargo will manage the Company's clients' Door-to-Door, Door-to-Port, and Port-to-Port commercial freight forwarding service. Goods that Graebel Cargo will export or import as the single source solution for the business' globally active clients include: Office furnishings and equipment, special commodities and electronics, trade show exhibits and products, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for the hospitality industry, and relief goods that may span hospital supplies and food stuffs deemed project cargo.
40-year industry veteran, Charles Kremer has been appointed to head the Graebel Cargo team of experienced freight forwarding experts. He is recognized for the successful launch of Graebel | CONNECT™ an export and import consolidation and expedited household goods shipment service in 2010. Kremer continues to report to Petzel.
William Graebel remarked, "For 62-years we have focused entirely on providing relocation services. Graebel AfricaTrans and Graebel Cargo are the natural evolution of this focus that offers a one-stop, single source relocation solution for our globally active clients. Here, clients experience substantial savings from bundled pricing and dependable top-notch performance from our immense global volume-buying power that is matched with world-class on-the-ground relocation services in 153 countries."
"Our organization is the relocation industry's only fully integrated global company with 100-percent accountability. Graebel provides the best of all worlds - an undisputed one throat to choke solution for our customers' employee removals and Graebel Cargo for their commercial cargo," offered Petzel.
"Additionally, Graebel AfricaTrans brings a new dimension to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that was launched companywide by William Graebel in 2009. From helping to strengthen relationships with firms in Africa, as these companies build and expand their relocation businesses through our Graebel multi-faceted training programs, Graebel AfricaTrans will partner with these companies to help make certain that relief projects ranging from food to hospital supplies will be distributed timely and properly in the local African market."
