EVTN Receives Purchase Order for Voraxial Separator for Refinery Application
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Enviro Voraxial Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: EVTN) announced today that the Company has received a purchase order for its Voraxial® Separator for a refinery application. The Voraxial Separator will be used for various refinery service processes including liquid/liquid and liquid/solid separation.
Many industries need to treat their wastewater prior to discharging it into the environment. The Voraxial Separator's ability to conduct high quality separation with a small footprint and without a pressure drop requirement significantly increases the number of applications for which the Voraxial can be used. EVTN has already completed projects for produced water, deckwater drainage, mining, stormwater and oil spill applications. The Company anticipates stronger sales from the oil, mining and waste-to-energy industries in 2010 as demand for the product continues to increase.
Due to the restrictions of current separation technologies (large footprint, pressure drop requirement and low throughput), refineries typically rely on settling tanks to process the bulk of their separations. The Voraxial® enables refineries to increase their separation performances while increasing productivity and reducing service cycles. The Voraxial® also provides additional performance capabilities that can be of great importance to these customers which reduces the customers cost in treating their wastewater.
