EvoNexus Tech Incubator Welcomes Newest Class of Startups
13 new ventures, 56 total in incubation
SAN DIEGO, Dec. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- EvoNexus, the technology incubator and hub for Southern California's entrepreneurial and startup community, announces its newest class of technology startups. Over 180 startups applied to the latest round, bringing the total number of applicants to over 1200 since 2009. Of the 182 applicants, 13 companies were admitted, which is less than one-in-ten. EvoNexus companies have raised over $686M in funding and outcomes since the incubator's founding in 2009.
EvoNexus San Diego welcomes 6 new companies to the Downtown location and 3 new companies to La Jolla. EvoNexus Irvine admitted 4 new companies, bringing the total companies incubating in Irvine to 18. With the admission of these 13 companies into EvoNexus, there are 56 technology startups incubating across the 3 EvoNexus locations.
