In this newly created role, Mr. du Toit will be responsible for managing and directing the strategy for the consumer and professional businesses, including product, editorial, sales and sales development. His role will also include guiding Everyday Health's strategic direction and growth and ensuring the company remains a nimble, innovative market leader.
An accomplished executive with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and consumer media and marketing, Mr. du Toit joins Everyday Health from Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, the largest healthcare communications network, where he served most recently as Global Group President. Mr. du Toit has also held executive roles at premier marketing agencies such as Digitas Health where he was a founding member, Razorfish Health, Grey Advertising and Ventiv Health Communications, as well as senior marketing positions at pharmaceutical companies such as Glaxo and Boehringer Ingelheim.
