Management Team Changes Allow New Focus on Systems Business with Dedicated Executive Leadership

COLUMBIA, Md., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products, and systems, announces today the company has named Ben Roderique as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Leann Zawodniak as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Eurotech Inc. The new appointments position the company for a strong 2010 as the company continues to design, develop and produce application-ready embedded computers and systems to serve the North American market.

With these additions to the executive team, Chris Houghton, former COO, assumes the role of COO - Systems for Eurotech Inc, to drive the development and operations of a team dedicated to delivering systems that meet specific enterprise needs. Houghton, who has been with the company over 15 years, moves into a role that builds on his previous positions with Eurotech, including CEO of the UK division of Eurotech in Cambridge, England.

Ben Roderique brings more than 20 years of experience to his new position as COO, where he directs the operations, engineering, research and development functions of the Eurotech Inc. organization. As CFO for Eurotech Inc., Zawodniak manages financial responsibilities and records for the organization in North America.

Prior to joining Eurotech, Roderique was the Vice President of Product and Business Development for Advanced Manufacturing Technology Inc. and held management roles at Emcore and Ericsson previously. His educational background brings the necessary technical expertise to his role as Eurotech COO, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Management of Technology.

Zawodniak's previous roles included Controller for Jonathan Product LLC, Verint Systems, Inc., and CBQ, Inc. before joining Eurotech as Controller in 2009. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
