Essar Steel Algoma Files For Temporary Restraining Order Against Cliffs Natural Resources

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON, Oct. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - On October 5, 2015 Essar Steel Algoma Inc. received notice from Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. attempting to cancel the parties' existing Pellet Sale and Purchase Agreement. In response, Essar Steel Algoma has filed a request for a Temporary Restraining Order.  The matter of supply is currently in dispute and before a federal judge in Cleveland, Ohio.  Essar Steel Algoma fully expects Cliffs to honour the supply agreement until such time as the matter has been justly resolved.
