Equifax Names Barros President of International Unit

ATLANTA, May 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX), has named Paulino R. Barros president of its international business with responsibility for strategy, direction and management of the company's operations in 14 countries on four continents. In addition, he will lead the company's efforts in expanding and implementing new products and services in existing markets as well as expansion into new geographical markets.

Barros has extensive multicultural and multinational executive experience worldwide, with particular experience in Latin America. Most recently, Barros was President of PB&C Global Investments, LLC, an investment and consulting company focused primarily on assisting telecommunications, wireless and internet sector companies expand internationally.

Prior to that, he was the President of Global Operations for the Business Service Division of AT&T Corp., with P&L responsibility for that company's enterprise and wholesale businesses in 134 countries. Barros was also President of BellSouth's International operations with more than 12,500 employees and 13 million customers throughout the region including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

He has also held a number of senior-level positions for Motorola Inc. and Monsanto Company in the US and Latin America.

A native of Brazil, Barros holds a Masters in Business Administration from Washington University, in St. Louis, and earned two engineering degrees from leading Brazilian institutions.
