HAYWARD, Calif., Sept. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- EPIKGO, a new player in the electric scooter industry, today announced the launch of the self-entitled EPIKGO Classic Self-Balancing Scooter its flagship product. The EPIKGO Classic is UL 2272 certified and adheres to the industry's highest standard assuring users of no potential fire or electrical hazards.

With intentions of becoming the new leaders in the industry, EPIKGO created a product that can go virtually anywhere. 400W dual motors make EPIKGO nearly two times more powerful than the traditional balance-board model. The Classic has been tested to scale slopes ranging up to 15°. After military-grade testing this model was deemed IP54 certified, meaning it is water resistant and semi-submersible. With a high speed rating of 10 miles per hour, the EPIKGO is faster than the leading competitor.
