Enter Contest to Win a Designer Prom Gown from Prom Gown Direct
NEW YORK, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Prom Gown Direct is launching a new contest to help families in this shaky economy, awarding one prom gown a month from January to June to high school girls who may not be able to attend their proms otherwise.
Prom Gown Direct, which has three retail outlets in New York City as well as a strong online presence, is awarding beautiful gowns with a value up to $500 from well-known designers including Jovani, Sherri Hill, Faviani and Terani. The stores and website have more than 2,000 prom gown designs to choose from.
Prom Gown Direct Owner Sabrina Kucevic developed the prom gown contest after hearing about heart-broken girls unable to go to their proms because their parents cannot afford a dress.
"As a parent myself, I know how I would feel if unable to give my daughter the perfect dress for the prom, probably the most memorable experience of high school," Kucevic said.
Contest entries are now being accepted on http://www.promgowndirect.com. Entrants will be asked why the high school student deserves the prom gown of her dreams.
The winners may select from any prom gown on the website and in the store and if desired, she can work with a Prom Gown Direct stylist to help her find the perfect dress.
Prom Gown Direct will select one winner per month on the 15th of each month from Jan. 15 through June 15. Someone may enter the girl into the contest or she can enter herself.
"I can't grant every girl her dream dress, but I can make a difference to six families and that is just the beginning. I hope to expand this contest every year to see how many gowns I can give away," Kucevic said.
