EnerSys to Join S&P MidCap 400; Wabash National to Join S&P SmallCap 600

NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- S&P SmallCap 600 constituent EnerSys (NYSE:ENS) will replace DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. (NASD:DWA) in the S&P MidCap 400, and Wabash National Corp. (NYSE:WNC) will replace EnerSys in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Thursday, August 25. S&P 500 constituent Comcast Corp (NASD: CMCSA) acquired DreamWorks Animation in a deal completed today.

EnerSys manufactures, markets, and distributes industrial batteries. Headquartered in Reading, PA, the company will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Electrical Components & Equipment Sub-Industry index.

Wabash National designs, manufactures, and markets truck and tank trailers, intermodal equipment, and transportation related products. Headquartered in Lafayette, IN, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS Construction Machinery & Heavy Trucks Sub-Industry index.
