Energy Star Approves 90 Watt PAR38 Replacement LED Light Bulb From Nexxus Lighting
CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexxus Lighting, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXS) today announced that the first two of its Array™ PAR38 LED replacement lamp models are now ENERGY STAR qualified. The Array PAR38 in both the 3000K 20 degree and 10 degree beam spreads are now approved. The Array Par 38 LED lamp exceeds the performance of a 90 watt incandescent bulb at 3000K, 10 degrees and utilizes the company's unique patent-pending thermal management system to deliver over 930 lumens and a center beam candle power of 15018 using less than 20 watts. All Array bulbs have excellent color rendering performance (80+ CRI), are designed to last 50,000 hours and can provide up to 80% in energy savings compared to incandescent and halogen bulbs.

These two additional ENERGY STAR listed products are just the latest of seven Array™ Lighting LED bulbs now approved by ENERGY STAR as part of an ongoing process to bring the highest quality, most energy efficient LED incandescent and halogen replacement bulbs to market.
