Emsisoft Acquires Online Armor!

THALGAU IN SALZBURG, Austria, July 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Emsisoft in Austria is well known for its award winning Anti-Malware range of products - including the products Anti-Malware and Mamutu. Over the last two years Emsisoft has also been marketing the German version of the Online Armor Firewall from Tall Emu in Australia. The collaboration between the two companies has worked so well that Emsisoft will now completely acquire the Online Armor software from Tall Emu, including the Online Armor development team.

Emsisoft was founded in 2003 and now has 20 employees working intensively to develop security systems for Windows PCs. The Emsisoft Anti-Malware dual anti-virus software and the Mamutu behavior blocker are their flagship products.

The Online Armor Firewall was invented and developed by Tall Emu in Australia. This program ensures that only programs explicitly approved by the user have access to the local network or Internet. Other modules have been added to the classical Firewall features, such as Web protection, an Online Banking mode and protection against undesired Autostarts.
