Cloud computing is transforming IT infrastructure, applications and end-user device layers, ushering in a wave of disruptive change unlike anything the industry has ever experienced.
Key opportunities to listen, learn and gain hands-on experience:
- EMC and VCE Live Demo: Experts will showcase how Vblock™ Infrastructure Platforms from VCE and EMC VPLEX® enable fast and easy application mobility and infrastructure migration in real-time with no downtime or disruption. Utilizing VMware vMotion™ and Cisco Data Center Interconnect networking technologies, the "booth hopping" demo will illustrate how the solution removes the physical barriers within, across, and between data centers to facilitate application mobility, high availability, data center resizing, consolidation and relocation, technology refresh, and workload balancing. This solution provides mobility and high availability to virtual applications, virtual machines, virtual networks, and virtual storage. VPLEX is also certified to implement vSphere Metro Storage Cluster (vMSC) for mainstreaming VMware stretched cluster configurations and creating highly available VMware environments over distance.
- EMC Booth (#P2): Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss best practices and see demonstrations of technology integrations between EMC, Cisco and VCE, as well as meet with subject matter experts to discuss challenges and opportunities they're experiencing with cloud computing. EMC Global Services will highlight capabilities and offerings to accelerate the journey to the cloud and help IT staff transform themselves into next-generation Cloud Architects and Data Scientists.
