NEW YORK, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading television industry trade publications, Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News have announced that they will once again present the annual Hispanic Television Summit during Advertising Week. The Eight Annual Hispanic Television Summit will be held as a one-day conference on Wednesday, September 29th at the Hilton New York Hotel, located on the Avenue of the Americas in New York City.
The affiliation with Advertising Week NY marks the second year in a row that the leading Hispanic television industry conference has participated in the week-long series of events and activities that are scheduled specifically for members of the advertising, media and marketing communities.
According to Larry Dunn, Group Publisher for Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News, "Our affiliation last year with Advertising Week NY allowed us to attract even more attendees from the advertising community than we have previously. Naturally, we are pleased to once again include our Summit within the line-up scheduled for Advertising Week NY, 2010."
The Annual Hispanic Television Summit has been presented each Fall since 2003 by Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News. It traditionally attracts about 400 attendees from across the country, Latin America and Spain. The Summit is the television industry's signature conference for executives involved in the business of television and digital video targeted to the US Hispanic and Latin American viewing audience.
As a result, the Summit features speakers, panelists, and participants who are top executives from sponsors; programming networks; broadcast, cable, satellite, broadband and mobile TV providers; as well as those from advertising agencies, finance, consumer electronics, video technology and other consumer goods.
"We are happy that The Hispanic Television Summit will be joining our line-up again this year. The close association with the Hispanic Television Summit furthers our deep commitment to leveraging the platform Advertising Week affords to shine a light on our diverse and ever expanding industry," stated Matt Scheckner, Executive Director of Advertising Week.
In 2009, Advertising Week's sixth anniversary edition attracted over 60,000 industry leaders to over 200 thought leadership programs and special events featuring marquee participants. This year's Advertising Week will run from Monday, September 27 through Friday, October 1, 2010.
