Easyvoyage.co.uk Predicts a Bright Future for the Middle East's Tourism Industry
PARIS, December 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
-The Middle East is poised to become an incredibly popular destination with tourists from around the globe-
Easyvoyage, an online travel and hotel reviews company, believes that destinations in the Middle East will increase in popularity over the next couple of years. There are already several resorts in the Middle East that are incredibly popular with tourists and currently there is a steady demand for cheap holidays to Dubai and other destinations in the region.
Recently the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) proclaimed that participants at the UNWTO/Arabian Travel Market event on the Future of Tourism in the Middle East and North Africa, held at the World Travel Market, were unanimous in agreeing that tourism in the region would return from challenges stronger than ever.
Rooksana Hossenally from Easyvoyage comments: "Centres like Dubai and Bahrain are great places to spend a holiday. Dubai in particular has continued to grow in popularity and will continue to do so in coming years. People will soon be juggling the pros and cons of cheap holidays to the Bahamas or spellbinding Middle Eastern destinations."
Hossenally continues: "It is no surprise that the participants at the UNWTO/Arabian Travel Market event believe that the region will feature heavily in the holiday plans of tourists for years to come. It is a great place to have a holiday and with uncharted beaches and cities to explore the area will soon get the recognition it deserves."
Guy Crawford, Chief Executive Officer of the Jumeirah Group in Dubai, was quoted in the release from the UNWTO: "The Middle East is rich in culture and people; the sector has been expanding in terms of infrastructure and air capacity. If we work together there is an incredible future for the region."
