E-Green Management, LLC Announces Renewal of Contract with Suffolk County Office of Steve Levy for Suffolk Residential Electronics Recycling and a New Contract with Town of Brookhaven for all of its Residential Electronic Recycling
E-Green Management brings Computer and Electronic Recycling to Local Residents across Suffolk County, Long Island, New York
NEW YORK, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Fred J. Dufek, President/CEO and Managing Director of E-Green Management, LLC, announced today that E-Green Management started off 2010 teaming up once again with the Suffolk County Executive Office of Steve Levy, to provide Suffolk County residents with additional free computer and electronic waste collection events throughout 2010. Once again E-Green Management was able to provide Suffolk residents a convenient opportunity to broaden their recycling habits and help promote computer and electronic waste recycling as a vital and required step in saving the environment in which we live.
Carrie Meek Gallagher, Commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Environment and Energy states, "Suffolk County is pleased to announce that we will be extending our partnership with E-Green Management to ensure that every Suffolk County resident is provided with a safe and easy outlet to recycle their unwanted electronics. We are looking forward to building on the past success of the Computer and Electronic Waste Collection Program, which has already prevented over 68,000 lbs. of electronics from entering our landfills and incinerators."
Mr. Dufek also announced that E-Green Management, LLC has signed a contract with Deputy Commissioner Edward Hubbard of the Town of Brookhaven, which encourages all Brookhaven residents to participate in a new residential electronic waste recycling program. Starting in January 2010, Brookhaven residents have been invited to bring their unwanted electronics to the Town of Brookhaven's Recycling Facility located at 350 Horseblock Road in Brookhaven, New York, for safe, compliant and responsible recycling by E-Green Management, LLC. The Town of Brookhaven now diverts great quantities of computer and electronic waste from local landfills.
