Dynamics Inc. Showcases Revolutionary ePlate™ Credit Card Device At 2013 International CES
For the First Time, Consumers Can Get Instant Rewards On An Interactive Payment Device
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dynamics Inc., an innovator in next-generation payment devices, is proud to showcase the credit card of the future at CES. The game-changing technology revolutionizes consumer's everyday spending from the 1970s-era cards we use today to an interactive, real-time reward experience with the ePlate™ device.

As an added exclusive for CES attendees only, Dynamics will be hosting performances, signings and special attractions with Experience™ reward providers, including recording artist Katie Armiger, Skip Barber Racing School, Twin Sisters, Radical Comics and other interactive ePlate experience rewards – bringing to life the day-to-day shopping experience ePlate users encounter!
"Dynamics created the ePlate payment device to provide consumers with instant, high-value, exclusive rewards from a growing ecosystem of experience rewards. In doing so, consumers can have any credit card reward product at any time on a single battery-powered payment device," said Jeff Mullen, CEO and Founder of Dynamics. "We're excited to bring our experience rewards to life this year at CES with exclusives from Katie Armiger, Skip Barber Racing School and other experience reward providers! It's a great opportunity for everyone to get a feel for the real-time reward experience the ePlate offers consumers."
The ePlate payment device, created by Dynamics Inc., is backed by a $35MM round by Bain Capital Investment. This technology is the first battery-powered, computerized credit card that allows users to securely and instantly choose from more than 35 reward experiences (and growing) on the fly using two mechanized buttons on the card programmed through a mobile app platform. Rather than having ten cards each utilizing different reward points, this one card can be a one-stop shop for consumers.
How it works
The battery-powered ePlate credit card device is connected to an ecosystem of experience providers that each deliver a unique experience reward to the consumer. When making a purchase, a consumer simply presses a button on his/her ePlate credit card device to receive the experience™ reward associated with the pressed button. At any time, a consumer may change online the experience rewards associated with the different buttons on his/her ePlate credit card device. The credit card rewards are called experience™ rewards because experience™ rewards are the first rewards to be delivered instantly, within seconds of a purchase, to the consumer. Furthermore, experience providers are supplied with consumer-approved payments data so the rewards can be personalized to a consumer's spending habits. The ePlate payment device is as durable as a traditional payment card and will last more than three years on a single battery charge. The technology does not require any change to the 60 million 1970s-era magnetic stripe readers or reeducation of its merchant base. To learn more, visit DynamicsInc.com.
