Duffy & Duffy Secures Place on 'New York's Top Verdicts of 2009'

UNIONDALE, N.Y., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Duffy & Duffy, a preeminent medical malpractice law firm based in Uniondale, N.Y., successfully litigated four cases named in Verdict Search's "Top New York Verdicts of 2009." The list, published by Verdict Search, was included in the April 26th edition of the New York Law Journal. The publication included the Top 25 Verdicts in the state, as well as additional lists detailing the top verdicts in each industry.

The firm's four cases all ranked on the Top Medical Malpractice verdicts of 2009. In addition, Figueroa v. Southern, a case involving a Bronx resident who suffered from paralysis following his doctor's failure to properly diagnosis a spinal abscess, ranked 12th on the Top 25 Verdicts of 2009.
