Dr. Stoots is a recognized industry expert, with more than three decades of strategic and operational leadership experience in healthcare informatics and nursing.
Said Earl Steinberg, MD, CEO of xG Health, "We are happy to have Marcy leading this important effort. Our new apps suite effectively translates Geisinger improvements in outcomes and efficiency to providers everywhere. They deliver on the promise inherent in EHRs, that patient data can become the analytic base for improving care. In a time when everyone is talking about interoperability, we are among the very first to have demonstrated proof of concept."
Marcy Stoots commented, "As a clinician, I appreciate the origins of our new apps family as well as the frustrations that busy clinical and IT leaders face when they try to use their EHR data for high quality care delivery. I am excited to bring this suite to market. These apps unlock decades of Geisinger results in clinical workflow redesign so that institutions everywhere can benefit."
