ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dr. Kenneth Sullivan P.E., President and Chief Executive Officer of Micro Craft, Inc., was recently elected to serve as Chairman of the Manufacturing Division for the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). NDIA is America's leading defense industry association promoting national security that provides a legal and ethical forum through which leaders in industry, academia and government can collaborate and provide solutions to advance national security and defense issues. Prior to his election as chairman, Dr. Sullivan also served as the division's vice-chairman and the chairman of the Supply Chain Network committee.

In addition to working at Micro Craft, Dr. Sullivan has been employed at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center; United Technologies Corporation (Carrier); and most recently as the Director of the Office of Operational Excellence in the Research Institute at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Dr. Sullivan received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He completed his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management from The University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI). Dr. Sullivan completed his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering/Engineering Management from University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is a registered Professional Engineer.
