Dr. Judy Alston Discusses Cultural Border Crossing And Student Achievement In American Schools

NEW YORK, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Teachers aiming to improve student achievement are often faced with the challenge of creating a learning environment that allows students to cross "borders" – the gaps between school life and home and/or social life.
