NEW YORK, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- On April 21, 2010, Dow Jones Newswires released exclusive news that Malaysia's Kossan Rubber Industries – the world's third-largest glove maker by sales – planned to issue each holder of one of its shares one bonus share. Three hours after Dow Jones broke the news, the company officially announced the bonus issue in an exchange announcement. The following day Kossan's shares rose as much as 4% on the news.
The bonus issue is the largest payout in the company's history, rewarding shareholders during a robust business environment. Kossan is the second Malaysian glove maker to issue bonus shares in less than two months.
