Dow Jones Adds Veteran Investment Banker and Hedge Fund Manager to Investment Banking Editorial Team

NEW YORK, June 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dow Jones today announced the appointment of Michael White to Dow Jones Investment Banker's dedicated editorial team. Dow Jones Investment Banker offers in-depth opinion and analysis on global industries and the topics essential to bankers and analysts, including M&A, capital raising, regulatory changes, and venture-capital and private-equity financing. Michael White joins the New York team as a Special Writer focusing on financial services.

Mr. White has 17 years of experience in the investment banking and hedge fund industries and 24 years' experience within the financial services sector. Prior to Dow Jones, he was managing director and head of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) practice at Dominick & Dominick, a boutique investment bank and the oldest surviving member of the New York Stock Exchange. Before that he was a principal at Bank of America's Financial Institutions Group. Previous to Bank of America, Mr. White held several positions at Merrill Lynch's Financial Institutions Group. Mr. White has an MBA in finance from Fuqua School of Business and a BA in economics from Amherst College.

Mr. White will report to Arindam Nag, deputy managing editor for investment banking solutions at Dow Jones.
