TPS Mobile "Rapid Field Quotes" allows the sales rep to utilize Manufactures Price Lists, Quantity Discounts, Assemblies or Packages and the Dove Net, Auto Estimating System to accurately create a quote in literally minutes. The quoting system also calculates Shipping and Handling and Taxes. Additionally, freight can be added. Other capabilities include Pre-Written Scopes of Work and Quick Pull-down Comments. The sales rep can easily change the Margin or Markup on the quote. Since the quote is being written in the field the cost figures are hidden by default but can be turned on when needed.
When displaying the actual quote to the client, TPS Mobile "Rapid Field Quotes" allows the rep to turn on or off, Part Numbers and Itemized Pricing. The system allows for Sub Totals and Suppressing sections of the quote as is capable in The Project System. The system produces a PDF formatted document which can be displayed on the mobile device and can be sent to the client.
TPS Mobile "Rapid Field Quotes" works equally well on all mobile devices, but works best on the larger screen devices such as iPads and Large Android devices.
The main purpose for this tool would be to create quotes where there is really no reason to go back to the office and spend a lot of time on the "Cookie-Cutter" type installations: small camera jobs, access control systems for small buildings, inspections, quick sound systems, etc. Generally, the sales rep will be using predefined equipment lists and where the options are fairly well known.
Since TPS "Rapid Field Quotes" is available on the Technicians Mobile Device, Techs could also give a quote to a client right on the spot. Signature Capture Capabilities are also available.
TPS Mobile also has Service Ticket Capabilities that were introduced at last year's InfoComm, 2012.
