Last night, Moniker concluded DOMAINfest's annual auction of premium Internet real estate.  Over the course of two live auction events during the week, investors bought 122 names for a gross sales total of just more than $1 million.  Notable name sales included GolfLessons.com ($65,000), PearlEarrings.com ($50,000), and Husband.com ($45,000).  The top hammer price for the event was $215,000 for LoanCalculator.com.

Sales totals confirm that domain names continue to increase in value as institutions, advertisers and venture capitalists recognize that online real estate is an indispensable business and marketing tool.
