Dollar a Dozen, Changing the Way We Donate
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., July 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dollar a Dozen, a Non-Profit Foundation founded in December of 2010 by 16 year old Brendon Ghaderi of Westlake Village, California, allows people to donate from 1 to 12 charities or schools with a single donation. The Foundation's goal is to help non-profit organizations and schools raise funds and make the entire donating process easier and more affordable. In addition, each donation enters your name into their "Thank You Giveaway" as well as all Bonus Drawings.
Rather than having to visit various websites to make a donation, at Dollar a Dozen you can contribute to one or multiple charities simultaneously. Donations start at one dollar and are fully tax deductible.
As a "thank you" for your generosity, your name will be entered into Dollar a Dozen's "Thank You Giveaway. The next Giveaway is scheduled for January 7, 2012. Prizes include certified, autographed photos of Joe Montana, Mario Lemieux, and Alex Rodriguez. Visit Dollar a Dozen's website for a complete list of prizes.
Bonus Drawings are held twice a month. Winning a Bonus Drawing does not disqualify you from winning the "Thank You Giveaway". Dollar a Dozen's next Bonus Drawing will be held on July 18, 2011. The drawing is for $50 and for 4 tickets, a $240 value, to see Rick Parry, the Creator of the English Premier League and Former CEO of Liverpool FC at the Hyatt Regency in Westlake Village, CA on Thursday, July 21, 2011. The event includes dinner. Tickets can also be purchased at dms11.com.
Dollar a Dozen's first fundraiser raised $14,523 and ran from December 2010 through June 1, 2011. The following are a few of the ways your donations made a difference:
- Operation Smile - Changed the lives of 5 children
