DirectPointe Aligns With Quest Software to Enable Monitoring and Management Tools to be Delivered as a Service
New platform enables DirectPointe to deliver 24x7 application and desktop performance management in multi-tenant environments
LINDON, Utah, Jan. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DirectPointe, a nationwide provider of managed IT services, has developed a scalable, platform-as-a-service monitoring solution. As an extension of the Quest Service Provider Alliance Program (www.quest.com/MSP), which was entered into earlier in 2010, DirectPointe is providing application infrastructure and desktop performance management and optimization. This solution is available to customers starting in January 2011.
DirectPointe is leveraging Quest's enterprise-level management and monitoring tools for the SMB and MSP markets by integrating those solutions with Wendia's Point of Business (POB) Service Desk management (SDM) and ticketing system to holistically monitor networks, servers, PCs, and applications more efficiently. For the first time, infrastructure and application performance management is being incorporated with a full, ITIL-compliant SDM system. Wendia, a member of Quest Software's Technology Alliance Program, specializes in robust service management software.
The new platform will save customers time and money by eliminating the burden of deploying and maintaining monitoring environments, while optimizing application and desktop performance.
