SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GoHealth Urgent Care, one of the fastest growing urgent care companies in the U.S., and Dignity Health, one of the nation's largest health systems, announced today a joint-venture to bring a new model of high quality, consumer-focused urgent care centers to the Bay Area. This partnership will provide patients with greater access to convenient care, where and when they need it most.
"Our partnership with GoHealth will provide more options to Bay Area residents for fast and convenient care in a lower cost setting," said Dr. Todd Strumwasser, Sr. Vice President of Operations for the Bay Area "These urgent care centers will be staffed with Dignity Health clinicians so that we can meet consumers where they are and provide the high quality care that we are known to deliver."

Additionally, the seamless integration with Dignity Health's electronic medical record system will be a distinctive feature of the partnership, offering caregivers and patients a unified medical record, ensuring more consistent and informed care.
"Our new urgent care model will provide Bay Area patients with an effortless, technology-enabled experience that is completely integrated into the full continuum of care," said Todd Latz, CEO of GoHealth.
