The acquisition brings together two heavyweight hosting providers in the Australian market and signals continued growth for both. Anchor and Digital Pacific will continue to trade under their respective brands.

Anchor was established 17 years ago, providing managed hosting services to Silicon Valley-based tech heavyweights like GitHub and TestFlight, and well known Australian clients such as Booktopia, Michelle Bridges 12WBT, Princess Polly and the Bureau of Meteorology. As a profitable company with a strong technical team, Anchor proved to be the ideal acquisition opportunity for Digital Pacific who dominates the small and medium business hosting market in Australia.
