Dickey's Invites Community To Barbecue Event

HICKORY, N.C., June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- If you're a barbecue fanatic then you need to come to Dickey's Barbecue in Hickory on June 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for its grand opening celebration.

"Dickey's has great food and a family-friendly atmosphere," said local franchise owner Barbara Dobson. "The Hickory community has really enjoyed us being here and we look forward to becoming a bigger part of the community."

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dickey's will be serving $1 pulled pork sandwiches. Customers are encouraged to stop on by between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in order to enter a drawing for a chance to win free barbecue for a year. This new smokin' hot store is located at 1036 Lenoir Rhyne Blvd. SE. right by Lenoir Rhyne University. The store phone number is 828-855-9390. Dickey's is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Dickey's isn't showing any signs of slowing down in its expansion plans for North Carolina. This will be the tenth location in North Carolina with several more slated to open this year.
