Department of Labor & Industry Announces Online Availability of Guidelines for Gaming School Curriculum, Proficiency Requirements
HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Educational institutions interested in establishing education and training programs to prepare Pennsylvania workers to meet the current demand for table game staff in casinos can now access the Curriculum Guidelines and Minimum Proficiency Requirements for Gaming School Instruction online at www.dli.state.pa.us.
Developed and adopted by the Department of Labor & Industry, in consultation with the Department of Education and the Gaming Control Board, the guidelines establish courses of instruction that will provide individuals with adequate job training necessary to obtain employment as a table game worker with a licensed gaming entity in Pennsylvania.
