Company Announces Strategic Product Management Hire, CEO's Role at Hinman Conference
ATLANTA, March 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DentalPost, the dental industry's premier online and mobile job board, announces today from the Hinman conference the company is celebrating 10 years of success and innovation in the dental industry. The company announces consistent year-over-year growth of 30 percent for the last two years, and 30 percent growth in new member registrations from 2013 to 2014. Tonya Lanthier, founder and CEO, will be speaking at the Hinman conference regarding both social media strategies and hiring innovations for dental practices.
DentalPost also announces the hire of Tara Williams as DentalPost's new Product Manager. Williams is responsible for leading DentalPost's research and development for all new products and services. She previously served as a Director of Product Management at InterContinental Exchange and as Managing Partner and Principal Consultant at Metronome Technology Group in Atlanta.
"We are at a very exciting time in our company's history," says Lanthier. "I am very enthusiastic about where Tara can take us. Her experience in product development and rollout will allow us to bring innovative solutions to the market faster and more frequently than ever before, while enabling us to customize solutions for a more global market."
DentalPost has experienced significant growth and activity over the past year. The company announced the formation of an advisory board in 2014 to help guide the company's future growth plans and has been aggressive with new product rollouts in an effort to change the way the dental industry finds and creates teams. Key news from the company over the past 12 months includes such innovations as:
- The launch of an interactive private messaging feature which allows employers and job seekers to more efficiently communicate.
- The launch of the innovative Candidate Matching feature, a first of its kind for the industry. The system uses sophisticated algorithms to match job seekers' skills and culture preferences with relevant job openings.
- The launch of its continuing education management tool. This innovative online system allows users to manage CEs and Required Hours in an easy to navigate one-stop site.
"I believe taking care of people is the best way to take care of business. My goal has always been to make DentalPost the premier online and mobile job board, allowing dental practices and professionals to connect, ultimately making the hiring experience less cumbersome and more successful," says Lanthier. "We have evolved over the years with new technologies and innovations that have truly changed the way dental practices are managed. When you create tools like this, success inevitably follows."
DentalPost will be celebrating its tenth anniversary at the Hinman conference on Friday, March 27 at noon, booth 756 on the exhibit floor. Lanthier will be offering signed copies of "Powerful Practice," a book in which she wrote the chapter regarding using metrics to make hiring decisions, and all attendees will be invited to celebrate the company's success with cake.
