Deliv Announces Major Expansion with New Cities, New Malls and New Partners
Fast, convenient same-day delivery now available in eight geographies across America
MENLO PARK, Calif., Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Deliv today announced the expansion of its same-day delivery service ahead of the holiday season, doubling its footprint with the addition of four new geographies, including Seattle, Houston, Northern New Jersey and Washington, D.C.
Deliv's expansion is fueled by both strong consumer demand and retailer interest. The company partners directly with retailers to add the Deliv same-day delivery option into the retailer's checkout process, whether on their website, mobile app or in their physical brick and mortar store. Deliv powers any retailer's store, whether on or off a mall property, to make same-day deliveries within its eight geographies: San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Houston, Northern New Jersey and Washington, D.C.
Deliv also announced the launch of 18 new malls across the country, as well as new partnerships with two more of America's premier mall operators, PREIT and Taubman. Deliv is operating in PREIT's brand new Springfield Town Center in Washington, D.C., which opened on October 17, and in Taubman's Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Together with existing partners, General Growth Properties, Macerich, Simon Property Group and Westfield Corporation, this will triple the number of malls offering Deliv-powered same-day delivery to 30 by the end of the year.
"This growth is a testament to the fact that our retail and mall operator partners are deriving enormous value from their ability to offer an enhanced customer experience, through convenience and choice, with the Deliv same-day delivery option," said Daphne Carmeli, founder and CEO of Deliv. "We are excited to expand across the country along with our existing partners, as well as welcome new partners onto the Deliv platform."
"We have created a platform that gives customers a service that is not just fast but is also convenient and flexible. It is incredibly strong demand that is pushing us to rapidly expand the offering into more cities and from more retail stores across the country," she said.
Deliv offers shoppers affordable same-day delivery with full transparency. Deliv crowdsources its drivers who are customer service and sales focused. The Deliv platform incorporates smart routing and full transparency, including the ability for shoppers to watch their delivery on a map in real time from pick up to their desired delivery destination. Customers may rate each delivery so the platform is able to prioritize the allocation of jobs to drivers with the highest ratings. This ensures an excellent customer experience.
