Deepening its Cyber Bench, Team8 Adds David DeWalt, Former CEO and Chairman of McAfee and FireEye, to its Board of Directors
TEL AVIV, Israel, Feb. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Team8, Israel's leading cybersecurity think tank and venture creation foundry, announced today that David DeWalt, former CEO and Chairman of McAfee and FireEye, is joining Team8's Board of Directors. Mr. DeWalt also joined Team8's industrial security portfolio company, Claroty, as Chairman of the Board.
Widely recognized as one of the most successful business leaders in the cybersecurity industry, Mr. DeWalt brings more than 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity sector. In addition to the executive roles he held at McAfee and FireEye, he also served as Chairman of Mandiant, Vice Chairman of ForgeRock and ForeScout Technologies, led the sale of McAfee, Documentum, and Eventus, and has acquired more than 50 companies over the course of his career. He was also appointed by the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, to the National Security Technology Council (NSTAC).
