DDB Latina President Juan Carlos Ortiz Writes a Book of Short Stories on his BlackBerry® Smartphone at 30,000 Feet
NEW YORK, Feb. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Juan Carlos Ortiz, President of DDB Latina, part of DDB Worldwide, has published "Shorts/Cortos," the first book written entirely while in the air and on a BlackBerry smartphone.
The bilingual book (written in both Spanish and English) features a collection of short stories about ideas, creativity and life itself, which Ortiz calls the "master teacher of communications."
Ortiz noted, "This book was a creative challenge. Two years of writing on a BlackBerry, two years of flying, and two years of crafting short, simple, creative stories that anyone might relate to. It was not easy but it was fun."
"Shorts/Cortos" was originally launched in digital format and is available at ibooks, at Barnes & Noble (NOOKbook) and Smashwords (English version) http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/27394 (Spanish version) https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/24891, as well as other channels.
