David W. Ives, CEO of NIIS, Appointed Entrepreneur in Residence at the Bertolon School of Business at Salem State College and Enterprise Center at Salem State College
New appointment brings great business expertise and advice directly to students and small businesses
SALEM, Mass., Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Enterprise Center at Salem State College and the Bertolon School of Business at Salem State College announced the joint appointment of David W. Ives, CEO of Northshore International Insurance Services, Inc. (NIIS) of the North Shore of Boston as Entrepreneur in Residence.
Ives has been involved in every part of private equity investing in three active businesses as well as in several prior companies. As CEO of NIIS, he has taken on this additional responsibility to help students and small business owners.

Ives will be working with students and faculty at the Bertolon School to bring his hands on entrepreneurial skills and experience to the classroom. Additionally, he will help the Enterprise Center assist companies seeking to grow. This begins with moderating a panel of entrepreneurs on Growing a Great Idea Into a Great Company at the first 128 Venture North breakfast of the year on January 22.
