DaoPay Buys Boku's Pay by Call Payment Business
DaoPay is buying the pay by call business of Boku for an undisclosed amount. The deal strengthens the position of DaoPay in the pay by call sector, making it the largest processor for pay by call payments worldwide.

The deal strengthens the position of DaoPay in the pay by call sector, making it the largest processor for pay by call payments worldwide.

DaoPay is a phone payment service that enables users to pay by phone in 54 countries around the world using both mobile or landline phones. 2.7 billion people are able to pay with their patented technology. DaoPay is providing its payment solutions since 2002.
DaoPay is predominantly used for purchases of digital content such as virtual goods, in-game purchases, membership/subscription fees and other services. Clients using DaoPay's payment services include Facebook, IMVU, Innogames, Nexxon, Gameforge amongst many others around the globe.
DaoPay expects to process the highest number of transactions in company history this year.
DaoPay, a 100% privately owned company, said the transaction will be closed in the third quarter of this year.
