Daniel Chung, Former Chief Trademark Counsel at Johnson & Johnson, Joins Cantor Colburn LLP
HARTFORD, Conn., May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Cantor Colburn LLP, one of the country's leading intellectual property (IP) law firms, announced today the hiring of partner Daniel Chung, former Chief Trademark Counsel at Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Chung holds over 20 years of extensive experience in all aspects of trademark and copyright counseling, enforcement, strategy and portfolio management, having held senior counsel positions at several dynamic multinational global corporations and having worked in private practice.

As Chief Trademark Counsel for Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Chung managed a large global trademark department responsible for one of the largest global trademark, copyright and domain name portfolios for businesses in the consumer products, medical devices and pharmaceutical sectors. Previously, Mr. Chung was General Counsel, Global Intellectual Property for Cadbury PLC, managing all aspects of its global trademark and patent portfolio for businesses in the confectionery, beverages and food sectors. Mr. Chung has provided IP leadership and strategy on numerous M&A transactions, including the acquisition and divestiture of multi-billion dollar businesses, and complex licensing arrangements and corporate agreements.
