D-BOX Technologies Signs Second Agreement with Japan Theatre Giant, Warner Mycal Corporation
Greater Tokyo Area Movie Theatre to Debut Motion Technology in Time for Holiday Movie Season
LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - D-BOX Technologies Inc. (DBO.A on the TSX Venture Exchange), a leader in innovative motion technology, announced today a second agreement with Warner Mycal Corporation, one of the largest operators of commercial theatres in Japan, to equip its Warner Mycal Kohoku theatre in the Tokyo metropolitan area, with 18 D-BOX MFX Seats in time for the Holidays. This transaction marks the second sale of D-BOX MFX Seats in Japan and will generate as well, licensing fees payable to D-BOX in accordance to the systems' utilization. WMC Kohoku Newtown will represent the 31st movie theatre in the world to feature D-BOX's completely immersive movie viewing experience.

At Warner Mycal Cinemas Ohdaka, which opened in Nagoya on March 23, the D-BOX kiosk installed at the shopping center prior to its opening has attracted attention locally, and created interest in the new movie viewing experience provided by Japan's first "moving seat" WMC's Twitter campaign received many tweets such as "What a shame only Ohdaka has this equipment!!" and "It makes me feel as if I were in the movie!!" It also received many others from all over the country requesting the introduction of D-BOX MFX Seats at nearby cinemas.
WMC Kohoku Newtown is located in a suburb of Yokohama, Japan's second biggest city after Tokyo, and it is one of our largest cinemas with 12 screens and more than 2,200 seats. 18 D-BOX MFX Seats will be installed at its # 6 auditorium.
