CxGBS Hires New Georgia Tech Graduate Rushi Patel

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., June 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Commissioning & Green Building Solutions, Inc. (CxGBS®) is keeping it local with their latest hire, Rushi Patel. Patel is a recent graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Environmental Engineering. He will be based at the company's headquarters, located in Lawrenceville, Georgia, part of the Atlanta metro region. Patel will be working on many of the firm's higher education projects.

"I first learned the importance of sustainability as an undergraduate student at Georgia Tech when I collaborated on the Living Building Challenge project," states Patel. The Living Building, which was part of the campus' master plan, demonstrates the most advanced measures of sustainability in the current build environment. "The opportunity to be involved with the project, at any level, was an honor," added Patel.

Patel's first projects in the area includes the Van Leer and Price Crosland Tower Renewal at Georgia Tech, where he has had the opportunity to learn firsthand from an industry veteran, Jay Enck, CTO and co-founder of CxGBS. "Although Rushi joined us not long after he graduated from Tech, he has a strong knowledge and understanding of the engineering process, as it relates to his larger interest in sustainability. He possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and has very quickly shown the ability to work in coordination with other team members. We are thrilled to have him on the CxGBS team," stated Enck when asked about the new hire.
