Cumulus Solutions, Inc. is awarded Technology Based Conferencing Services by State of Texas

CHANTILLY, Va., May 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cumulus Solutions, Inc. announced today the State of Texas, Department of Information Resources (DIR-SDD-TMP-201), awarded three services categories for audio and video conferencing under the statewide Technology Based Conferencing Services contract.  Also included in the contract are professional services to assist Texas customers in the design, installation and management of custom audio and video solutions. 

Cumulus has been selected to provide State customers with;

1. Audio Conferencing
2. Video Conferencing
3. Web Conferencing
   1. Web Casting
   2. Installation Services

All products available in this "first of its kind" contract have been designed to deliver a new level of flexibility for enterprise-grade audio and visual collaboration by combining cloud computing, peer-to-peer networking and media stream switching to enable;

• HD Audio Conferencing
• Concurrent sharing of multi-sourced media, including desktop screen, iPad screen, static and interactive whiteboards, wearable camera live views and recorded video, photos and any other content.
• Real-time adaptability of media-stream quality via scalable video coding
• Native interoperability with SIP, H.323, and WebRTC solutions without the need of additional gateways for media processing
• A distributed server architecture with application layer multicasting for media streams to support large-scale deployments
• Support for both private and public cloud deployment
• FIPS 140-2 Security
