CultureSource Names Pamela Iacobelli President/CEO
DETROIT, Sept. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Pamela M. Iacobelli was recently named the new incoming President and CEO of CultureSource, Southeast Michigan's leading arts and culture nonprofit organization. Iacobelli will replace Maud Lyon, past Executive Director and founder of CultureSource, who was appointed President and CEO for the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance.

The CultureSource Search Committee, led by Homberg, along with Cyd Kinney of the executive search firm DHR International, Inc., conducted a national search to expand the organization's leadership for a new President/CEO.

As she begins her new role of President and CEO on October 1, 2015, Iacobelli brings extensive business leadership experience to CultureSource. Most recently, she served as Greater Michigan Market Marketing and Community Relations director for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. While serving on their Michigan executive leadership team, Iacobelli increased the annual charitable giving of the Michigan partners; provided strategic direction to the partners and council as they exceeded the regional goals and mission of the firm; and strengthened relationships among all Michigan market partners.
While President and CEO of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, Iacobelli was honored as Oakland County Non Profit Executive of the Year. She grew the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber membership, attendance to major events and increased annual net revenue through fundraising. In addition, Iacobelli served as senior vice president for Regional Marketing and Community Relations at Huntington National Bank, was senior director of the Detroit Regional Chamber Regional Economic Partnership and Technology/Business Services division, and regional district manager of Chase Bank.
In her new role with CultureSource, Iacobelli says that, "Given the rapid growth and positive momentum in our region, this is an extremely exciting time for the arts and culture industry. I am honored to be able to lead CultureSource and continue the critical work of advancing the mission of the organization and our members."
Other professional and civic affiliations include: Detroit Revitalization Fellows Program and Advisory Council Member 2004 Ryder Cup Planning Subcommittee, Duke University – Leadership Graduate, and the Wayne State University – Research and Development Committee. Iacobelli is a 1992 graduate of Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo) where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational communications. Iacobelli, 45, is a resident of Birmingham, MI.
