More than one million students have used Cramster to get unstuck on homework problems. Cramster offers homework help from a community of subject experts as well as interactive step-by-step solutions and hints for popular textbooks. Cramster continues to see dramatic growth of its highly engaged member base with a strong focus on homework help for quantitative subjects. Later this quarter, Cramster will release a revamped homework Q&A service including expanded support for humanities and writing help.
"We believe the market for online study tools is poised for explosive growth," Sasson said. "Cramster's team, product offering, and growing and passionate community clearly make it the leader in the space. We are very excited about the possibilities and potential."
Cramster will use the funds to expand its product line, strengthen its offering in non-quantitative subjects and grow the team at its headquarters in Pasadena.
"We built Cramster to provide the kind of help we wish we had when we were in school," Co-Founder Aaron Hawkey said. "With this funding, we will continue to invest in our tools, content and community in order to empower students to push the limits of their learning capabilities across all subjects and through multiple platforms."
