Cram.com Adds Audio Functionality in 18 Languages, Introduces Premium Membership

LOS ANGELES, July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cram.com, part of the StudyMode network of tools and a free online education resource for students to create, study and share flashcards, today announced the addition of a text-to-speech function that provides audio support for flashcards across 18 languages. Additionally, the site has launched Cram Premium, an ad-free experience that gives users more control and flexibility as they study.

With Cram Premium, users can customize the look and feel of their flashcards, whether they're working from the 80 million cards already available on the site or building their own set from scratch. Users can create bulleted lists and modify the color, weight and font-size on their flashcards. Key facts can be highlighted with italics, boldface or a bright color.

Cram Premium also provides a distraction-free study environment, with no advertising.

Monthly access to Cram Premium is available for just $5 a month – roughly the cost of a single latte. A semester plan offers a slightly discounted rate and additional pricing plans will be available soon.

Audio Support
Cram.com's new audio feature, available to all users, lets students hear the words on each flashcard as they work their way through a set. A natural-sounding voice gives precise pronunciations, opening up a new dimension of learning for all users, and giving language learners a valuable tool for mastering pronunciation as well as vocabulary and syntax.

Free and premium users simply click on the audio icon to activate the audio feature. They can also opt to hear the front, back and hint on each card.

Cram Premium and audio support are both available now at Cram.com, and coming soon for the Cram mobile applications.
