CoroWare Announces CoroCall Recording and Webcasting
Delivers HD Quality Recording and Webcasting for CoroCall Subscribers and Resellers
KIRKLAND, Wash., Dec. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CoroWare Technologies, a subsidiary of CoroWare, Inc. (COWI.QB) and an authorized Vidyo service provider (CSP), announced today it has added VidyoReplay™ - recording and webcasting capabilities to its CoroCall Business Class HD Video Conferencing service.
By expanding its capabilities with VidyoReplay, CoroCall Business Class HD Video Conferencing subscribers can now record their Vidyo conference sessions for an additional monthly subscription fee.
"The ability to easily and affordably record and webcast high-quality, HD Vidyo conferences through VidyoReplay is another reason why a growing number of service providers, such as CoroWare, are leveraging the power of Vidyo's platform," said Vidyo's Ashish Gupta, CMO and SVP of Corporate Development. "By adopting VidyoReplay, CoroWare can now offer its subscribers the ability to capture a Vidyo conference and make the recording available for viewing after the conference."
Unlike most videoconferencing services, CoroCall subscribers can conduct, record and webcast HD quality videoconference sessions without expensive conference reservation services. From their desktop systems or mobile devices, CoroCall subscribers can record and webcast customer support alerts, product announcements, medical procedures, lectures, training sessions and more.
"We use our CoroCall Vidyo service for everything from intra-company conferencing to formal live demos of our courtroom audio video management and capture solutions to potential clients around the world," said Kurt Maddox at JAVS, Inc. "As a company whose own solutions promote the value of broadcasting and recording court proceedings, we were quick to realize the value of broadcasting and recording our CoroCall sessions when appropriate. Not only are we able to review our live demos to continuously critique and improve our own performance, but we can share recorded demos with others who for whatever reason are unable to schedule a live demo. For a small company with a global footprint, CoroCall's Vidyo services allow us to extend our limited resources further than ever before."
As a result of this upgrade, CoroCall subscribers can now record their videoconference and webcast their videoconferences to up to 300 simultaneous connections. Meeting organizers become content creators and determine whether to make recordings private, viewable within the company, or viewable by anyone with a link to the recording.
"Our customers are always looking for more effective ways to collaborate and communicate. CoroCall subscribers have been asking us for a way to leverage their existing CoroCall service to provide webcasting and recording capability," said Mike Searcy, Director of Sales for CoroCall. "We have responded to this demand by offering the VidyoReplay service to our subscribers. VidyoReplay will allow them to visually connect with a much larger audience in a very cost effective, simple yet powerful way."
