Connect for Health Colorado CFO to Join Eventus Solutions Group as Vice President of Customer Engagement
DENVER, Sept. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Connect for Health Colorado Chief Financial Officer Cammie Blais, who has played a key leadership role in launching one of the nation's most successful state-based health insurance marketplaces, will assume the role of Vice President of Customer Engagement with Eventus Solutions Group, a nationally recognized management consulting and managed services firm. Effective October 6, Blais' responsibilities will include strategic planning, business development and service delivery with focus on the healthcare sector.

Blais' leadership at Connect for Health Colorado was critical to launching the Marketplace on a footing that has enabled them to meet ambitious enrollment targets and keep fees and spending lower than most states. Her work included:
- Successfully negotiating and managing vendor contracts for all areas of the Marketplace, including technical contracts, call center implementation, operations, marketing and strategic consultant agreements
- Implementing Marketplace and corporate financial systems and the customer service center
- Developing financial and key operational policies and procedures for organizational launch, and focusing on operational efficiencies post-go-live
Prior to joining Connect for Health Colorado, Blais served for four years as owner of Bolder Business Solutions, a firm that provides business, financial and human resources consulting and staff augmentation. Earlier Blais served for nearly seven years as Director of Operations and Finance at Newstrom-Davis Construction Company and 14 years in operational management positions at the Greenblock Worldwide Corporation and at Mayflower. She holds a bachelor's degree in business and accounting from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs.
