comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Sony's 'Passengers' launched in China this weekend, delivering a strong $32.5 million thus catapulting the film into the number one spot worldwide for the frame with $38.125 overall and $237.1 million globally to date with Japan set to release the film on March 24th. Notably, 'Disney's 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' is now looking toward the $1 billion global milestone with $979.95 million in the box office bank through Sunday."
