CompTIA to Participate in the USA Science & Engineering Festival

WASHINGTON, April 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the technology industry and the leading provider of vendor-neutral skills certifications for the world's technology workforce, said today it is participating in the Fourth Annual USA Science & Technology Festival.

The Festival, a free, family-friendly event designed to re-invigorate the interest of the nation's youth in science, technology, engineering and math, is set for April 16 and 17 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The Festival is expected to draw 350,000 people.

Visitors can race an Anki Overdrive car through an iPad application and learn how rewarding a career in technology can be. At the end of the event the racetrack will be presented to a lucky winner.

During the Festival CompTIA will highlight its skills certification program. CompTIA offers four categories of certification, from entry-level to expert, in cloud computing, mobility, technical support, Linux, networking, security, storage and other leading-edge technologies.

CompTIA has awarded more than two million certifications to individuals around the globe, making it the leading provider of vendor-neutral skills certifications and education for the world's technology workforce.
